Perform thorough history and physical exam on 10-12 patients in a very busy spine clinic. Order and interpret diagnostic tests, establish diagnosis and treatment plan. Provide post-op care. Hospitals rounds and call every other week. Surgical first assist on procedures including: anterior cervical discectomy, transforaminal lumbar interbody fusion, microdiscectomy, artificial disc replacement, decompression/laminectomy, posterior spinal fusions, and kyphoplasty.
